The year of 2016 has been a monumental break out year for the Cloudistics team. From the release of our product Cloudistics Ignite platform, to a Series A round of funding from Bain Capital Ventures, we have made huge strides to introducing our product and transforming the cloud industry today. 2016 was a year filled with rapid customer growth and brand recognition that we know will continue to increase this upcoming year. This 30 minute presentation and demo of Cloudistics sparked the official release of our product. Presented by our CEO Naj Husain, this video shares the vision, the features, and the benefits of the Cloudistics Ignite platform.
We take pride in building a team of professionals who provide insight, innovation, and expertise in their respected fields. We were fortunate enough to have Dr. Jai Menon, Former VP, CRO for Dell Research and CTO, VP, IBM Fellow join our team to help provide the thought leadership and market perspective needed to educate the masses about the power of Cloudistics.
In July we were excited to announce the $15 million in Series A funding we acquired from Bain Capital Ventures that aimed to help Cloudistics accelerate the disruption of $100B+ datacenter market with our next generation cloud infrastructure.
With our networking technology being one of our most unique IPs that separates us from competition like Nutanix, Simplivity, and Cisco HyperFlex, we partnered with Pica8 to leverage their network OS to run on our hardware switch.
We were honored to be named 2017’s 38 enterprise startups that will boom this year. With the credibility of our founding team and investors, the media projects the success we will have this year.
With the year coming to a close, we were honored to be named a finalist in the 15th annual Storage Magazine/SearchStorage.com Product of the Year awards and was named one of “10 Coolest Hyper-Converged Products of 2016” by CRN.
